Nida became an Autogenic Therapist after personally experiencing the benefits of Autogenics.
Her early career was as a nurse and health visitor. She was community nurse tutor at a leading London teaching hospital for 8 years. In 1983 Nida trained as an Autogenic Trainer with the late Dr. W. Luthe (who researched and developed Autogenic Therapy, initially with its founder Dr. J. Schultz). After this Nida trained in other branches of Autogenic Therapy (Meditation and Neutralisation) and Luthe's Creativity Mobilisation Technique. She has served on the British Autogenic Society Executive Committee as Honorary Secretary and has been a B.A.S. Training Course tutor and supervisor since 1992. Nida is also a qualified Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Expressive Arts Therapist. She is registered as a psychotherapist with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). She works with individuals or small groups at her practice in Surrey, and sometimes at a client's business or home. top of page |
